UX vs. Performance — who wins?

Is it a draw?
As usual, it depends. It depends on who your target group is, what your product is about and what your goals are.
B2C
For user-centered solutions (with a B2C focus), it may be more important to have a great User Experience. The reason is clear — a good UX can convert and retain more users while achieving a great product experience.
BUT, this doesn’t mean you can have a crappy performance. If your app is breaking every time users are on it, of course, you should increase your app performance first.
B2B
For services in the B2B area, a great performance can win over a great UX. I am not saying that B2B customers don’t pay attention to a good UX.
I am saying that they want good results for the money they are paying, and in our digital world, a good result may be a good performance.
So what wins?
An overall well designed UX will always help you make users happy. Maybe you also found yourself in this position once, where you had a pretty powerful tool overall, but the UX was so bad that you just couldn’t start loving that service.
So an overall UX fundamental is inevitable.
In a perfect world, you will be able to pay attention to both — an outstanding UX and the high performance of your product. It’s not black or white, it’s colorful.
In the end, you should always listen to your customer’s and users’ feedback. Are they complaining about a specific thing more often?
Focus on building a great product experience while delivering value to your users and customers. And then, as always, validate and iterate.
